The Lapcon® Door Damper (LDD) is an adjustable door closer that ensures that swinging doors close softly and securely, adding luxury, convenience, and safety to any setting.

Designed for interior swinging doors, the LDD engages at 15° from the closed position and softly closes the door from there, regardless of how hard or gently the user pushed it (within reason). No more slamming and no more doors that remain ajar.

Compatible with Many Doors & Frames

• The LDD adjustable door closer has a slim vertical profile of only ¾”, allowing it to fit into most door frames.
• We’ve designed the LDD for door widths up to 36” (914 mm).
• You can safely use it on doors weighing 33 to 88 lbs (15 – 40 kg).
• The LDD units are handed for left- and right-opening doors, so be sure to order the proper model numbers as needed.
• The LDD is for use on interior doors only, and should never be installed in environments with exposure to high humidity, water, wind, and temperatures extremes.

This adjustable door closer model is LDD-S-R/LBR, which is the surface mount type, with right-hand opening (opens toward you to your right), and a light brown color. Eight surface mount LDD models are available in all, featuring four colors in both the left-hand and right-hand configurations:
