Lapcon®: Dampening Technology for a High-End Soft Door Closer

The Lapcon® Door Damper (LDD) is a self-closing soft door closer that ensures swinging doors will fully close when they are pushed—adding convenience and soft-closes to eliminate stress and pinched fingers. Designed for interior swinging doors, the LDD soft-close surface mounted door closer engages at 15° from the closed position and gently closes the door on its own from there.

Fits Most Doors, For Interior Use Only

The LDD soft door closer features a slim profile of ¾” that fits in most door frames.
Accommodates door widths up to 36” (914 mm)
Accommodates doors weighing 33 to 88 lbs (15-40 kg).
For interior use only. Do not use on doors with direct exposure to moisture, wind, weather, or extreme temperatures.

This soft door closer model is LDD-S-L/LBR, which is the surface mount type, with left-hand opening (opens toward you to your left), and a light brown color. Eight surface mount LDD models are available in the Lapcon® Door Damper Series:
