From our HES3D Series of 3-way adjustable concealed hinges for doors, the HES3D-W190 line is our new wide-throw version.
Wider Throw for Cladded Doors & Molded Frames
The HES3D-W190 heavy-duty concealed hinge has a wider throw than our equivalent HES3D-T190 hinge line. This wider throw provides clearance for you to add either:
- Up to ¼” cladding to both the door and the frame
- Up to ⅜” molding on your frame
6 Finishes Available for Any Decor Style
We offer six different styles of finish to support the many aesthetic and decor opportunities made possible by the wider throw of the HES3D-W190 line of concealed hinges for doors.
- HES3D-W190DC-UL: Dull Chrome finish, UL certified*
- HES3D-W190DN-UL: Dull Nickel finish, UL certified*
- HES3D-W190BL-UL: Black Finish, UL certified*
- HES3D-W190PN: Polished Nickel Finish
- HES3D-W190WT: White Finish
- HES3D-W190PB: Polished Brass Finish
All models come with cover caps to hide the adjustment screws, for a nice, clean, aesthetic look.
* Fire Endurance: All six models are designed for 3-hour fire endurance, but this model has received an explicit 3-hour fire certification by UL.
3-Way Adjustability Makes Precise Door Alignment a Breeze
If your door isn’t perfectly aligned on the first try, you can easily adjust the hinge in any direction (height, depth, and left-right) with our convenient hinge adjustment feature.
It’s also easy to come back and adjust our HES3D-W190 concealed hinges for doors that have become misaligned over time due to settling, renovation, etc.
Door Compatibility Dimensions
This is a heavy-duty concealed hinge that supports doors with dimensions:
- Up to 220 lbs. (100 kg) when using two hinges
- Up to 275 lbs. (125 kg) when using three hinges
- Up to 36” (915 mm) in width
- Up to 96–1/16” (2440 mm) in height
- Minimum of 1–5/8” (42 mm) in thickness
Only One Person Required for Installation
Another convenient and accessibility-minded feature of the HES3D-W190 line of concealed hinges for doors is that they are designed to require only one person for installation:
- The hinges have flanges that come apart, allowing them to be installed beforehand.
- Tabs on the hinges keep the door from falling off while you make your fastenings.
