Toughness and beautility: Sugatsune handles for industrial applications

Toughness and beautility is a concept by Sugatsune that combines durable construction “toughness” with functional beauty “beautility” for optimum ease of use in a range of operating environments. The manufacturing process abides load-testing standards and meets client requirements across several industries. The handles below redefine the very concept of the handle.

The ALH series of angled handles is ergonomically designed with anti-slip bumps along the edges. Its form also prevents the accumulation of dust. Made of shot-blasted aluminum in anodized finish, its anti-corrosive properties make the ALH ideal for use in machinery. For sturdiness, it has a weight capacity of up to 51 kg (112 lbs.). Combining durability with aesthetic, the ALH is a great match for medical, laboratory, or industrial equipment. The handle has four lengths and is available in matte-anodized black, silver, and satin finishes.

The SBH series of large handles with offset design gives the appearance of floating handles. Each square handle has an effective grab and is sleek, minimal, and functional. The SBH may be used for main doors in machinery. The handle has three lengths and is available in black and silver finishes.

The SLH series of large handles is made of 304 stainless steel for high corrosion resistance. It was ergonomically designed with easy gripping at any part of the handle. With a modern aesthetic and smart functionality, the SLH may be used in manufacturing equipment. The handle has three lengths and is available in satin finish.

The SRH series of curved handles is made of aluminum and is silver ion-coated, making it ideal for medical and food equipment. The handles have three lengths and are available in anodized and black finishes. With a low profile, the SRH form does not protrude too far from surfaces.

The HH-UD series of recessed pulls is made of 304 stainless steel with a black central body and is supplied with stainless steel screws. Designed with a comfortable grip, which may also be used by gloved hands, the HH-UD may be installed in swinging and sliding doors. The HH-UD156 is compliant with SEMI standard (SEMI S8-0915). The pull has two lengths and is available in satin and mirror finishes.
