This fold away shelf bracket by Sugatsune is self-locking when the flap is extended to the “open”’ position, and this particular model (EB-317/EP-BL-D) features a built-in damper that provides excellent soft-closing for a safer, smoother performance and exceptional style. We’ve also made it easy to easily collapse the shelf, simply by pushing the lever. The convenience to the end user speaks for itself. And, with the full functionality of a hinge, no separate hinge is required. The EB-317/EP-BL-D fold away shelf bracket with damper has a load capacity of 44 lbs (2 kg) and spans 12.5 inches (317 mm) in length by 6.75 inches (171 mm) in height. The design has been tested and approved for 5,+ cycles.
