Dear Friends and Valued Customers,
As many of you are aware, Japan experienced a devastating earthquake and tsunami on March 11, 2011 which led to many tragic deaths. The devastation of the damages has spread to nearby nuclear energy plants, resulting in widespread power outages.
Our priority is on the safety and well being of all employees and their families. Thankfully, Sugatsune Japan‘s employees and infrastructure are secure.
Sugatsune Japan has been implementing extra precautions in shipping procedures despite the limited power and rolling blackouts. The employees have been working overtime and weekends to accommodate our customers’ needs.
Sugatsune America is shipping available stock out of our Carson, CA facility on time. Scheduled shipments coming from Sugatsune Japan are expected to arrive with minimum delay. We will promptly update our customers if there are any delays that occur to ongoing and new production.
We would like to thank you for your continued concern and support.
Sincerely,
Sugatsune America, Inc.

Dear Friends and Valued Customers,
As you may already be aware, Japan experienced a 9.0 magnitude earthquake on Friday March 11. This
earthquake and the subsequent tsunami lead to the growing list of deaths and destruction in many parts
of the country. As a result, there have been widespread power outages, loss of communications and
significant damage to the infrastructure.
Since the event, our priority was placed on the safety and well being of all employees and their families.
Fortunately, everyone in our company has been safely accounted for, including our Sendai office staff
and families.
Due to the devastating event and the after effects, we will not be able to provide the normal level of service
in the foreseeable future. We ask for your patience and understanding during these difficult times.
Finally, I would like to thank you for the numerous communications of concern and support.
Sincerely,
Jun Sugasawara
